How long do shutters take to fit?
Most shutter orders are fitted in around 2 weeks from survey. Many companies quote months, but as a local Essex company we keep the whole process in the family, from measuring to fitting.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in South Woodham Ferrers near Chelmsford and cover the whole of Essex, including Basildon, Billericay, Maldon, Wickford, Rayleigh, Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Braintree, Colchester and the surrounding towns. We also take on work into Kent and London.
Do you fit shutters in bay windows and shaped windows?
Yes, bay windows are our bread and butter, including Victorian bays, box bays, angled and arched windows, patio and French doors. Made to measure means every panel is built for your exact opening.
Should I choose faux wood or natural wood shutters?
Both are made to measure in white, grey, black and more. Waterproof faux wood is ideal for bathrooms and kitchens, while natural hardwood gives larger windows a beautifully light, premium feel. We bring samples of both to your free design visit.
Do you make blinds as well as shutters?
Yes. We supply and fit made-to-measure blinds across Essex too, including wooden venetians, rollers, romans, verticals, perfect fit, blackout, motorised, conservatory, roof lantern and Velux blinds. You can also visit our South Woodham Ferrers showroom to see the ranges.
